  yesterday jw knocked on my door, i was sitting in the office with the window right next to it, they couldn't see me & i decided not to answer.

  they stood there for what seemed ages & as i watched something hit me.

  they were here only because they were on the territory.

  Counting time makes liars of all JWs, pioneers being the worst. I submit around the average hrs every month whether I even preached at all that whole month or not.

  The practice is hated by all JWs alike.

  hello and excuse my not perfect knowledge of english.

  when i've started studying the bible when i was 13 one of the first subjects i was teached was about genesis.

  the first two humans were supposedly perfect which by bible's means it meant that they couldn't die nor get ill. this meant that at least humans couldn't get diseases.

  God is so loving that he threw Satan down to earth with God-like powers to inflict upon us all harm, distress, despair, confusion, etc. According to His word the Bible, a most powerful invisible spiritual creature with an infinite army of Demons, to cause all sort of damage to humans and creation alike.

  God, therefore, engineered the condition under which humanity lives; then administers punishment for it. Ultimately destroying us all when he so desires.

  What a loving and merciful God! Sure makes one want to worship such a GOOD God!

  me and my new girlfriend

  you see ive started dating this girl and her family is of strong jehova belief.

  now i am not i do see certain things in there studie that is true in my opinion but ive never really been a religion type of person.

  i think i want to marry her but i am not a jehovas witness and am not looking to be anytime at all she says that is ok and we can still get married but i dont know how its possible or where we would even do it please i need advice

  Put it all on the table: What you expect regarding holidays, birthdays, etc., sexual relations, if she marries you and then starts a heavy campaign to convert you, abandoning you for meetings, assemblies, and all other JWs gatherings and crap.

  She might be lovely, mild, and all, but it can go sour quickly if the JW mindset takes over her being. Later on, when children happen, it could turn into an ugly heartbreaking mess.

  You will be back here telling us your sad story.

  i have some updates and new information on the downsizing in bethel.

  25% of all bethelites around the world will be sent home.

  in the us over 1,000 will be sent home.

  Best laid plans: Get fully educated (Bachelors, even Masters, if one can afford it or deal with the debt afterwards) then apply to Bethel afterwards. Also, make sure the careers are S.T.E.M. related.

  Funny how candidates that are barely dried up right after baptism get called in with full benefits if they happen to have careers the Org needs for their daily operations. It happened with a phycisian couple in my cong, then recently with an engineer guy that got called to Bethel almost right after his baptism.

  Of course, not that we mean to advocate for higher education; all other nothing chumps with just a high school diploma, a swift kick in the tail and right out of here!

  ok, i didnt think anything about it.

  but last night some friends from across the city called me up and said that the co was visiting their hall and in his talk he said that the society is getting geared up for a massive kingdom hall and assembly hall construction project worldwide next year.

  they told the publishers; "get ready".

  hi... i am new and after nearly 20 years after being disassociated at 15 i would like to make contact with others who have similar difficulties.

  my mother was disfellowshipped shortly after my rebellion and had all ties with both her mother and brother cut and that remains the case.. just really hacked off with not being able to put things in the proper place in my life after all these years.

  for the record i don't know if i believe in god but am searching for some peace as i seem to self destruct on a regular basis.. any ideas anyone?.

  heartbroken and not sure what to do...

  i don't know what to do.... i married last year and things have been very rocky.

  we dated for 4 years and did have normal issues but always had a lingering doubt something was just not right in our relationship-behavior to be more specific, he is not a jw, but i am.

  yes i know i married outside the "lord" but after my first marriage to a jw ended in divorce for physical abuse, i was glad i didn't married another jw.

  Be totally selfish about this or you will be miserable enough to have it end in divorce later on.

  this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.

  that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.
